You can’t help but feel bad for the people who thoughtfully included this detail, because I’m sure that more than 99% of the population completely missed it.

Hubs LOVES that movie, I just showed him the chart and the Mall signs. BTW the malls signs – I had no clue, but that is awesome. Love the clever touches
I live close to this mall. THAT blew my mind.
I was basically raised watching this movie every time we caught it on TV. I am proud to say that I did notice the mall’s name change! And I’m sure that qualifies me for some sort of nerd-dom…..

Jenny…. this is one of my favorite movies of all time and I have seen it so many times over the years. One movie that I can watch over & over again. Yeah there is a lot of neat little details like that in the movie. I love it! I do have to say that it took me some years before I started noticing them though like the Twin Pines Mall sign.
Anyway, I found your site after seeing you on Squaregirl’s (Krystyn Heide) Twitter Page. Cool site! I’ll have to revisit when I can and read more. I love Squarespace and have been very happy with them.
Maybe it is just because I have seen this eleventy bajillion times, but I noticed the Lone pine mall a long time ago. These movies are full of great little details like that, making them totally rewatchable. Love them so much.
