I think this holds for almost all electronics these days. A friend bought a Droid when it came out, only to get shafted by the Incredible Droid. Atleast Apple phone are good, unlike some Android phones
@Bird — Although I agree that the pace at which new and better technology is released has increased in the past few years, I think that what sets Apple apart from other tech companies are two things: 1) Apple fanboy-ism, which is unparalleled by other tech companies; and 2) Apple’s notorious secrecy surrounding its products prior to launch/official announcments. These two reasons are what makes this comic so pertinent, at least in my eyes. And please don’t bash the Android platform too much — studies have shown that Android is definitely making quite a niche for itself and I myself (and my husband) prefer the customizability, flexibility and choice of carriers what come with Android phones.
I like books, gadgets, spicy food, and art. I dislike shopping, hot weather, and the laws of entropy. Although I am a self-proclaimed computer nerd, I still have a love for handbags and makeup... and I am always teetering on high heels. To learn more about me, visit the "About" page.
