The Difference Between Pixar and Dreamworks Animated Films

For what it’s worth, I still say the best film of the ones that are listed here is Shrek. What about you?

Oh but you can’t beat Wall-E! Or The Incredibles! Or Up! I haven’t seen most of those Dreamworks movies, but I have seen every single Pixar movie listed!

I LOVE Wall-E! I thought they did a remarkable job making the character so believable and lifelike even though he doesn’t actually speak. I do love Shrek, but the series went overkill after a while.

Hahaha love this. Pixar is just the best. The 1st and 2nd Shrek’s were good, but I stopped watching after that.

Just to clarify, the Shrek I am referring to in the post is ONLY the first one. The sequels progressively got worse. :-(

Dreamworks I’d agree, Shrek for sure. Pixar takes it though with Toy Story and Monsters Inc. If you can create a movie that captures a child’s attention and can keep an adult entertained too… that’s magic!

Like Allie, I’ve seen all the Pixar movies listed, but only Shrek from Dreamworks. Pixar is amazing at making you laugh, cry, and feel thoroughly entertained in every movie no matter what age you are.

I laugh because I know someone that works at Dreamworks! LOL
