Fantastically Realistic Illustrations of Disney Princesses

Finnish graphic design student Jirka Väätäinen has been creating a collection of illustrations that gives us a vision of what Disney princesses would look like in real life. These have to be the best I’ve seen over the years, as they look lifelike while staying true to their animated selves (e.g., Belle’s cocked eyebrow).

I second Amanda. I’m curious as to how she creates these pictures. Belle is my favorite.

Belle is my favorite too (but I may be biased since “Beauty and the Beast” is my favorite Disney movie). And I think that Jasmine looks like Kim Kardashian!

I thought the same thing! Jasmine looks like Kim Kardashian and Ariel looks like a young Sally Feild.

Wow! I love these. I’m impressed how well he was able to make the hairstyles into real hair!

These are remarkable!! Wow!! I really wish I was artistic. I think artists aren’t ever compensated nearly enough for what they bring to this world. (Sorry I haven’t been around much the past week! It’s been a nutz week with little time and internet.. I read every post though.. =) )
