It’s interesting to see how many of my favorite films follow these recipes to a tee; I guess it just goes to show that formulas for success exist for a reason.

haha. Those are cute. I don’t think any of my Top 10 movies follow any of those formulas though. But that’s because I usually like unconventional movies with twists: where the guy and girl don’t get together or the enemy is not the enemy you thought. Thanks for sharing this.
I also LOLed at the Alien one. So true, I think you could even simplify Hollywood further with the plot formulas. Learned about it in film studies at Hopkins.
