Chocolate Chip Cookies Without the Chocolate Chips

The #1 craving I have had this pregnancy?
Chips Ahoy! Chocolate Chip Cookies…without the chocolate chips.
Does such a thing even exist?
To be honest I have never liked chocolate much. I actually don’t like most sweets and have not craved many sweets with either pregnancy.
But there is something about the carb-laden “cookie” part of Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookies I have always loved. The crunchy texture with the perfect balance of sweet and salty…mmm!
So yes. While this can be chalked up to a weird pregnancy craving, I have always loved the non-chocolate part of Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip…

Yesterday, the foodie site Serious Eats wrote about the 30+ Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Instant Noodles. And while I certainly wouldn’t call every method “easy” (just reading about the Ramepherd’s Pie gave me a headache), nor did all the modifications actually look that tasty in this blogger’s opinion (Ramacos and Ramac & Cheese look…interesting), I was glad to see the American public be exposed to all the different ways to enjoy the ubiquitous Asian treat.

Leprechaun Trap Cake

Happy St. Pattie’s Day! It’s been a while since I downed any green beer or got pinched for not wearing green on this holiday. Thinking back to my younger, partying days makes me a bit nostalgic (didn’t you know that Koreans are the “Irish of the Orient”? ), but considering my current level of fatigue I am glad to be home, away from the drunken masses.
