Continue readingI've been feeling under the weather the past few days — hence the lack of quality posts. I have read often that one of the biggest downsides of being a SAHM is that you do not get sick days. However, in my case, I have been very fortunate to have family who are giving me a hand. Yesterday, my little sister Suzy (well, she's not so little — she's 28 years old!) came over and cooked not one, not two, but THREE delicious dishes and stocked our fridge to the brim. And I must admit that Claire is really starting to warm up to her eemo ("aunt" in Korean). Even just a couple of weeks ago she would cry whenever Suzy...
Continue readingI didn't mean to offend anyone with my last post. I think I may have made a mistake by choosing to title the post "Keepin' it Real," because it was not my intention to imply that my blog is more "real" or better than any other blogs out there. And he gave me the best new year's day present — He took the baby out with him to dim sum and left me all by myself. For three, GLORIOUS hours. (Well, the dog was home too but let's just pretend he wasn't there for the sake of the story.) You guys, I can't tell you how...
Continue readingI always have a gazillion projects en queue in my head, am usually in the middle of several at once in real life. A couple of weeks ago, when J mentioned that he was thinking about blogging again (he was quite an avid blogger when we first became friends), I enthusiastically endorsed the idea and even thought of a great domain name for him. What he didn't know was that I had a mini-project brewing in my head since that night — — a brand new spankin' blog, tailored just for him! Meet Mister Geek in Heels: I will unveil the URL once he fills it with some content. We are now a blogging couple!...
