Happy Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

This picture of Turkzilla was too good to pass up. Courtesy of Boing Boing.

There are many, many things to be thankful for this year. But right now, at this moment, at 6:14am on Thanksgiving Day morning, I am most thankful for our cradle swing that calmed down my daughter who suffered from a poop explosion at 5am and would not go back to sleep despite my best efforts.

I hope everyone has a tasty, fun, and restful holiday.

i am not sure how i ended up finding your xanga page a few weeks? ago (no concept of time, sorry), but since, i've been secretly following =) i love your mommy posts. it's very "real". my little is edging near her 11th month now, and reading about your days take me back to when she was stationary and not out to destroy or eat everything in the house from spoons to wipeys and even my face (noone ever told me babies are like human puppies – but cuter). not all days are unicorns and rainbows, but they definitely become much funner!
