If the Steelers, Jets, Packers, and Bears Worked in an Office

Last Saturday, our beloved Ravens were booted out of the playoffs. It was an especially disappointing loss because not only did they lose to their #1 rivals after a first half that looked more than promising, it was Claire’s first NFL playoffs and we had ordered a baby cheerleader outfit just for the occasion.

This year’s NFL playoffs have been full of upsets and surprises. Now, with only four teams remaining (two of which no one had expected to go this far), I will be rooting for a Packers win for Super Bowl XLV. Anyone else with me? ๐Ÿ˜€

I happened upon a funny article titled Steelers, Jets, Packers, Bears And Their Office Equivalents earlier today. I knew that I had to share because it’s so hilariously true! Enjoy, and here’s to the impending end of a great NFL season!

P.S. โ€” Did you know that the site of Super Bowl XLVIII (in 2014) is less than 3 miles from our place? I’m both dreading and looking forward to the day!

My husband is a Denver Broncos fan, but Aaron Rodgers helped him win his Fantasy Football title for the second year in a row. So, yes, we’re with you on rooting for the Pack this year!

YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Just wanted to tell you that! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thank you! I actually made J take several pictures of us because I looked So. Darn. Tired. in each one of them. This one made me look the least exhausted, and the fact that the phone camera produces fuzzy pictures helps too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

ha! I grew up in Pittsburgh so of course I’m a Steelers fan… sorry! But I married a Browns fan, so clearly I don’t discriminate against football rivals ๐Ÿ™‚

thanks for sharing the funny article, and very cute picture!

    • J hates the Steelers so much that he won’t let me buy anything yellow/gold for Claire. True story. (He says it’s in retaliation of his buddy who is a die-hard Pittsburgh fan who threw out all the purple stuff that his wife bought for his own daughter.)

      Me? I dislike the Steelers but I don’t HATE them…and just like you I don’t discriminate. ๐Ÿ™‚

Go Packers! My father has always been a HUGE Packers fan so the games were on a lot when I was a kid. I used to watch the games so I could talk to my dad about them but that slowly developed into me becoming a huge fan. Plus, I think Aaron Rodgers is a total hottie.

  5. I stumbled onto your blog from a friends, and I am a HUGE Packers and NFL fan. Cheesehead all the war! My husband and I (he’s a Cowboys fan) LOVE football together, and so your blog made me laugh and I can totally relate. I’m looking forward to when we have kids and I dress them up in Green and Gold! (Or fight my husband not to dress them in blue and silver..) ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m in Wisconsin, so clearly, Packers all the way. I was at a wedding last weekend and they played the Packers/Falcons game on the big screen during the reception. Hilarious, people had Packers gear on under their dress clothes.

What, you mean under there overalls? Here’s one for ya… What do Packer’s fans want to be when they grow up? BEARS FANS

  7. LatteLove says:

Ok the Office Equivalents is pretty funny–but the cheeseheads?!

I’m going to be one of the few dissenting voices here so far–I’m DA BEARS all the way and so excited for them. (that Chicago accent can come back when necessary ๐Ÿ™‚ )

  8. David says:

Leave it to a Ravens fan to cut and paste an article they found instead of coming up with their own fresh, witty ideas. Tsk Tsk. Through a league of lions, tigers, and BEARS, your teams logo is a bird. A big ass crow. Really? Fly away little birdy.
