I feel kind of sad that we’ve moved from inexpensive toys like the Rubiks cube to gaming consoles worth hundreds. š It’s just not the same.

Jenna – I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this list. Even Legos are so much fancier than what we had when we were kids. I really do think that simpler (and often less expensive toys) help foster creativity and free thinking.
