From kottke.org: In the opening scene of the season finale of Mad Men last night, Betty Draper goes to visit Roger Sterling in a freshly mowed hay field wearing a huge white wedding dress and gets shot in the head with a rifle by an off-screen Jane. She was aiming for Roger, but the first bullet missed and he hit the deck like a good soldier. As the second bullet entered the back of Betty's head, the camera swung around 180-degrees in a Matrix-like way and we see the bullet exit her neck about two inches below the ear. Glee!

I have a new obsession, and that show is Glee. After downloading all 5 episodes in the season so far, including the director's cut of the pilot, I pressed "play" on my computer expecting not much more than another over-hyped sitcom. Not so, my friends. I proceeded to watch all 5, right after the other, in one sitting. It was that good. And I'm itching for more. THE best new show of the year. The Best Michael Jackson Video

Since the passing of the late King of Pop, I have watched endless tributes, medleys, and arrangements made in his honor. This has to be the best one yet. Perhaps it's because the entire piece is done a cappella - and who doesn't appreciate pop music turned the most simple form of melody?
