Is Anyone Else Sick of the Snow?

A blizzard is sweeping across the area…again.

Here’s a view of my street at 7am this morning. We are expecting several more inches.

Walking Comang was quite an adventure. I can’t say that he enjoyed the experience, as whenever he took a pause he would inevitably sink into the foot-deep snow and require assistance.

I don’t know about you, but I am sooooo ready for winter to be over. I am sick of putting on layers upon layers whenever I leave the house. I am sick of the dirty brown snow piled on the sidewalks. I am sick of having sore neck and shoulders at the end of the day (because I scrunch up my shoulders when I’m cold).

J and I haven’t taken a single vacation together since our honeymoon two years ago. I’m hoping for a big tax refund so that we can at least have a weekend getaway before the baby arrives.

  1. I had to drive at 60 km/h back from the client city in a snowstorm

Yeah. I’m pretty much done with winter.

  2. Amen! Bring on the warm weather already!

Aw, Comang’s the cutest. Jellyby LOVES when the snow is piled up high. She enjoys bounding through it like a bunny rabbit. And rolling around and doing snow angels in it. And peeing in it too. 😉

  4. I feel just like you I can’t wait for some summertime!
    oh! your doggy is adorable!

  5. Me, Me, ME! Chicago winters equally suck 🙂 And what hilarious commentary from Comang! My greyhound has considerably longer legs and can handle the snow, haha

  6. omg those picture of Comang are so cute!!! I’m sorry you are stuck with all the cold weather. You can come visit me in CA. 🙂

Your pup is super-cute in those photos! I have no room to complain about the snow like you do, but Georgia never gets snow, and we’ve gotten two blankets this winter, not to mention a bunch of flurry days (very rare, I assure you). We’re not suited to drive in it down here, so whenever we do get it, the roads are a mess. *Totally* looking forward to spring.

Comang is such a cutie pie!! And wow, that’s a lot of snow! Hoping that spring comes early for the east coast. The west coast is getting some rain, but obviously, it doesn’t compare to what the east has dealt with this season! Great pictures!
