Nutrition Facts, Redesigned

While I am a foodie, I’m not the healthiest person in the world when it comes to eating.

Alright, I eat like crap. (Don’t worry, I’ve gotten a lot better since I got pregnant.)

So it should come to no surprise that I hardly ever pay attention to nutrition facts labels. Ingredients. Vitamins/minerals. Measurements. Percentages. Yawn.

Maybe if it were prettier…

Oh, wait.

How GORGEOUS are the re-designed nutritional facts on this milk carton?

While it is only a concept, I would buy this carton of milk (even if it cost a bit more) and enjoy ogling it — not just to learn exactly what goes into my body, but to admire its lovely, educational design.

P.S. — I am slightly burned, but only on one side of my body (where the sun was at its strongest). Will I end up with an uneven tan? Is there anything I can do?

P.P.S. — After spending some time in HOT weather, I’m thinking of cutting my hair to a shoulder-length, wavy bob. J says that he prefers long hair on me, but that it’s ultimately up to me. What do you think? Should I go for it and chop off 5 inches?

  1. Oh noooooo!

Did you read the girlfriends guide to pregnancy? She says that pregnant women almost always want to chop off their hair but they shouldn’t. She said that it’s not a good time for hair-cutting-off thoughts and you might regret it 😮

I think your hair is gorgeous and you could pull off either look, I just think you should really think about it first!

@Debt Free Girl — I did read that book, but I had completely forgotten about that part! Thanks for the reminder….no drastic changes during pregnancy!

I’ve wanted to cut mine for a while too, but decided against it, only because if I don’t feel like styling it, I can throw it back into a ponytail. It’s your choice, though!

And I would totally buy that milk carton, too. I’m a big cereal box reader too, if it’s pleasing to the eye.

I get that urge to chop my hair off and go for something totally different but always resist. My long hair is like my security blanket – I swear I think I can hide cleavage under it and on days where I feel like crap, somehow when my hair is done I feel prettier.

That being said, I do think you’d look cute with it. Maybe a post prego chop?

just keep it long enough to pull back in a ponytail. little fingers like to grab and pull sooner and harder than you’d think
